“One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts”

The overall vision of the GOFAMINT NA Seminary is to bridge our current ministerial gap and raise sons in the fivefold ministry that will take the work of the gospel in North America to a new level of glory. Our current knowledge base cannot carry the weight of our future glory. As a church, the time has come for us to start a school of ministry, and eventually a seminary to produce laborers for the harvest that is already overripe on our continent. This would help raise a crop of young ministers for succession planning. The average age of our workforce is old, and if we do not fix this on time, it will not serve us well in the future. What that implies is that we need to intentionally involve the younger generation in ministry leadership with immediate action if we are to remain relevant in the future. The younger generation is the gateway to our God-ordained future of glory and global impact.
We need pastors who are well-trained if we are going to make a mark from here. We would need to have a training platform to train young people for succession planning and expansion. This would also raise the bar of how people become pastors in GOFAMINT NA.
We also need to actively engage the younger generation in the present leadership structure so they can carry on the values that the fathers have cultivated over the years. We need to create a process whereby we can identify, train and deploy them for the work of the ministry. We need to bring them actively on the stage.
We don’t want to repeat the case in Israel when a new generation arose that didn’t know about the mighty works of God among their fathers. (Judges 2:10)
The challenge of the hour is getting higher than what our pastors can deliver. We just need to start somewhere and improve on it.
This vision is succinctly captured in Psalms 45:16-17 “Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth. I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee forever and ever.”
The GOFAMINT NA Seminary gives us the opportunity to intentionally raise a new generation of vibrant and exemplary leaders that will take GOFAMINT to a new level of glory. It will also be a platform through which we will continuously commend the exploits of our fathers to a new generation of emerging and faithful leaders.
The Seminary is committed to equipping and empowering leaders who are deeply committed to Jesus Christ and His Church and are marked by sound biblical and theological knowledge, maturing spiritually along the journey with the necessary leadership skills for future ministries.
Our goal is that by the end of the program, the student should not only have been transformed but should have also grown and be a trained minister of Christ ready for all good works. The program is designed in such a way that if this is the only level a person can engage, he/she would still be a proficient minister of Christ. By God’s grace, our curriculum would seek to balance the three purposes of personal transformation, spiritual growth and ministry readiness.
